On 12th May, 2025, student Hu Kexin from Class 809 delivered a vivid and interesting physics lecture, guiding students to discover the scientific mysteries in their daily life.
Specifically, the lecture is divided into five main themes:
First and foremost, the World of Forces: through the 'coin floating on water' and 'rocket balloon' experiments, the lecture demonstrated surface tension and Newton's Third Law.
In addition, the Magic of Light: the lecture unveiled the optical principles behind coin disappearance, rainbow formation, and mirage.
Meanwhile, the Mystery of Sound: Using paper cups as sound tubes and Krallini patterns to demonstrate sound transmission, and introducing the ultrasonic navigation of animals in the meantime.
What's more, Electromagnetic Wonder: DIY electric motor experiment demonstrated electromagnetic conversion, explaining the history of current battles and magnetic levitation technology.
Last but not the least, Physics and Life: the lecture emphasized that physics is everywhere, encouraging students to maintain an inquisitive spirit.
Overall, the lecture made students experience the charm of physics through simple and interesting experiments, which aroused their interest in science and encouraged them to continue exploring the world of science.
